OUR MISSION
The mission of Colby's Stars Foundation is to assist others in their battle against cancer. Candidates in need are nominated through an application process. Each candidate's case is reviewed by the committee during our monthly meetings. Selection of a recipient is based on the severity of his or her condition and/or necessity of financial assistance.

Colby's Stars Foundation has been able to provide financial assistance, as well as an outdoor play set, monthly internet service for cyber school needs, medical supplies, a dream trip to the Jack Hannah's Columbus Zoo, luggage, clothes and gift cards to many families whose children were suffering from different forms of cancer.

At just eight years old, Colby Simkovic was diagnosed with an extremely rare and aggressive, cancerous brain tumor. It's location, in the center of his brain, made it inoperable.

Because a small community came together for their family, the Simkovics vowed to "Pay it Forward" and thus
Colby's Stars Foundation was born.

Colby Simkovic was a courageous young man who sadly lost his battle at age 19.
